What does B Corp stand for?
The B in B Corp stands for ‘Benefit for all’. B Corps are companies that not only aim for profit but also create measurable positive impacts on the planet and society. Joining the B Corp community, with over 9.000 companies worldwide, demonstrates compliance with high standards of sustainability, ethics, and transparency. The non-profit organization behind the certification is B Lab. B Lab is transforming the economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. A leader in economic systems change, its global network creates standards, policies, and tools for business. Besides, B Lab certifies companies – known as B Corps – who are leading the way.
How Grooblue Became
B Corp
Companies manage their impact with the B Impact Assessment, an online tool to measure and improve a company’s positive impact. Grooblue scored 95.1 out of a maximum of 200 points, surpassing the required 80 points to be eligible for B Corp Certification. Our biggest strength? Improving impact together with our clients. We do this though;
- Developing clear directions that inspires and motivates everyone to take action. We use the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the B Corp assessment method for this.
- Organizing an inclusive and people-centered work environment leads to better results including sustainable business practices.
- Developing strategies that acknowledges the risks and opportunities to meet new legislative requirements and the challenges we face.
